    I absolutely agree about supporting your local shop...  But, did you notice that the item advertised on the Web link also included a bottle of lubricant along with the tool...?

I just bought a cable lubrication tool at my local motorcycle shop for $6.95cad (about $5usd). It is almost identical to the "ProtectAll" tool, with the only differences being a single large thumb screw and this one is anodized blue. So save your money and support your local motorcycle shop.

    When I rode (before the advent of hydraulic clutch and brake cabling) I used one of these devices and can tell you that they work and work well...
