Airnav shows MS71 to have a runway length of 3540, maybe it's been lengthened recently? Not that it matters since it's turf.
Minimum runway length I will use at SL is 3000' paved. Looks like KMBO (4444 X 75 paved) and KHKS (5387 X 150) are each 10 nm away, if someone wants to operate a flying shuttle service to pick up canard guys.

Charlie,
I like the idea of a second get together, but i have a
couple of problems.

First, the length is OK, but Cozy's definitely don't
do grass. It' hard to get up to 80 kts to rotate off
of the grass, plus the front gear just isn't made for
anything other than hard surface. I have heard that
Velocities can/have used grass fields, but it's not
good for the Cozy.

Secondly, May 27th is my anniversary, which may or may
not be a problem. We've been married for 33 years, so
I may be able to miss one, who knows. Or she may say
fine, then I pay for it forever too.

I can't commit right now, but I like the idea, and
I'll see what I can do. I's kind of iffy having my 40
hours flown off, so I'd probably have to drive, unless
I can hitch a ride with someone else.
