I’d hate to less than positive since obviously this thing is never going to dieJ; but I would deem the above info as irrelavent to our use.  The “average” power level of automotive operation is about 30%, or in this case about 75 hp. And in a car, the output power level is not directly coupled to rpm as it is in a plane with a propeller.

 

 

What are we going to do with you Al :-)  Automakers, particularly ones with a reputation such as BMW, torture test their cars in every possible way.  They do things to them that you and I will never be able to do ourselves, just to make sure everything works.  Do you really believe they put an EWP in there that will only cool 75 hp?  What's the HP of that engine?  I'd bet it's more than ours.  I'd be pretty amazed if they hadn't tested the EWP to the full power, in the worst possible conditions.  

 

Feel free to rebut this, as I'll be driving to Panama City and back in the rain, to fix (hopefully) a scanner.  Really gotta love those 24/7 service agreements...
