I'm sure glad you went that route instead of selling the = RV-3. =20 I appreciate all the comments about the first run. I'm still pretty = happy about the rebuild so far. Today, I got the leaks either stopped, or = slowed to an eventual drip. I just couldn't run the engine long enough to = figure out which, since I have no prop on it, and therefore no airflow to the coolers. It's in serious need of tuning, since I changed the fuel = pressure, and the injector size, but it starts pretty easy, and runs reasonably = well. I do think I'm off on the timing a bit, but plenty of time (sorry) for = that later. =20 =20 I also finished the installation of the FJO wideband O2 meter. I = already love the fact that I can actually see and trust the range from 10 to 20 = AFR. This should really aid tuning, and will be very cool when leaning in = cruise. The unit also has an output that sends a 0-1V signal out to your ECU, so = the EM-2 is using that. =20 =20 I used my old plugs for the first run yesterday, so I wouldn't fill the = new plugs up with assembly goo.
