Yes, I'm using the same filters as Ed, and popular with many others.  I could have missed it by one MM, so it could easily be 16 x 1.5p.  I didn't check the Earl's site, but if it has an o-ring, then you shouldn't have any problems.  I was just afraid you were sealing it with teflon tape.

I can confirm that I'm using 15mm x 1.5p Saginaw to AN6 fittings for my GM
fuel filters, as Ed had recommended a couple of years ago.  If you're using
a plain 15mm x 1.5p adapter fitting, then how are you getting them to seal?

Hi Mark,

Are you using the same filters Ed and I mentioned?  What I have is the AC
Delco #GF481 equivalent from Puralator (because that's what Advanced Auto
sells).  This filter has 16mm x 1.5 (not 15mm x 1.5) female threads.  The
Earls fitting that I quoted ( 991955) is an o-ring seal type fitting that
converts to AN-6.

Cheers,
Rusty (5:39 and no DHL)
