This thread has been rather confusing but it seems that you are looking for a location for the pressurized oil line for the redrive.  Note that you can also tap the pressurized oil galley at the top of the front housing (next to the front cover, of course).  Yes, this is further away from the redrive but is easy to tap into.  I'm planning on fitting the pressurized output line from the oil cooler (after going thru the filter) to this location rather than the bottom corner of the rear housing (by the redrive).
