Several other listers have educated me, and I will be using the proper port
to return the oil. Thanks for making sure though.
As for the welding comment, trust me, I will learn to use this nice new TIG
welder, but I'm on vacation trying to finish the bulk of the final
construction, so I just don't want to take the time to do it this week. My
wife is fearful that she'll start finding things welded all around the
house. I've specifically been warned NOT to weld the front door shut :-)

I was browsing my rotary picture library today and came across this picture of one of Paul Yaw's engines (I think). The reason I'm sending it is so you can see how he handled the turbo oil return line. I think you had asked about doing this as one option. Based on this, it looks like it would work.
