Hi
Guys;
Attached is a picture of the connections on the back of my alternator (I
apologize for the poor picture quality but its from a $50 digital camera with no
macro for close-ups). It is from a Geo Metro. ND, 60 amp, internal
regulator, part # A-8314.
The large terminal is the B-Lead, but I need to know about the 3 small tabs in
the recessed circle, labelled A, B, C.
One would be
buss power and I'm guessing that another one is for a warning light and the
other is a separate ground for the regulator. If one is for a warning
light, then is it a "ground to operate" (do I connect the other side of a lamp
to power or ground?)
I
realize I should probably just send this to the AeroElectric list, but as they
strip all attachments I thought I'd try you guys first, since it seems to be a
popular choice for a alt, maybe someone here is using one. If not I'll just post
this picture on my site and send a link to the AeroElectric
list.
Thanks
