The Gear you saw in my photo came wrapped separately in plastic. I did not dis-assemble any of the components further from their shipping state.

I'm not sure what the holes are for, balancing perhaps? The instructions don't mention them, but I am assuming their position doesn't matter? I also could find no reason to take the planetary gear stuff all apart, so left it all together as it was shipped. I did make sure the needle bearings were aligned correctly. Am I missing something?
