My aluminum tank is located on = the cold side of the fuselage (behind the rear seat), and always feels cool = to the touch, even after an hour of flight. You could add fuel cooling if you wave = a fan at the tank. The time I'd be worried about, is just the situation = that you had on your last flight. Basically, you had the engine compartment really hot, then ran at idle prior to takeoff. During this idle time, there's very little new, cool fuel coming in from the main tank, and = you're circulating the same fuel over and over through the hot rails.
