I bought four RC Engineering injectors to replace my stock Mazda 550cc injectors. I had suspected that one or more of my injectors was letting fuel leak by causing the engine to run rich. After dealing with some issues with fuel leaking from one injector seat, I finally got it resolved and started the engine. I still have the same issue running too rich, though now I can turn the mixture full CCW and I do get a change on the A/R guage. I still don't know why my mixture all of the sudden went rich. I had the engine tuned perfectly, and all of the sudden it went rich. I've changed the fuel pressure regulator, and now the injectors with little improvement. I also ran the EC-2 back to default, and started tuning again with no help. The engine is running fine, and is probably OK to fly. On my last flight the mixture at low cruise was right on the money, and the rich issue is only at lower power settings. Yesterday, I switched to the "B" controller, and the mixture was better and adjustable, but after switching to "A" and back to "B" it then seemed to be about the same again. I'm going back to the airport today for some more testing, tuning and hopefully a flight. Maybe today will produce some better results, because yesterday certainly didn't go very well. I do like the idea of have new fuel injectors though. The RC Engineering injectors mounted pretty good in place of the old injectors. The electrical connector is different, but I had already discovered that, and order 4 new connectors. Steve Brooks Cozy MKIV Turbo Rotary
