The drive shaft for the OMP gets its lubrication from the oil that goes through the channel and supplies oil to the OMP.
 
Question - how can the shaft get lubrication if the channel has been block off per the mod to remove the OMP and use gas/oil mix.  There is a small hole in the channel that carries the shaft  about in the center of the shaft, will enough oil get into this hole from splash off the oil pump chain. How about beveling the hole to catch more oil the drip into the shaft bearing?
