I blocked mine off at the housing per Tracy's manual; however, I wouldn't
mind putting the shaft back in to drive the pump with external 2-cycle oil
supply since I will have to pull the front cover off to check on that little
oil pump key.  Will the shaft be properly lubricated if this is done?
