Nothing but good to say about the speed of downloading... I see from zero to 4 Mb/s, with an average about 1.2 Mb/s. The upload is limited, however. I see no more than 64 Kb/s. I only opted for satellite because DSL and Cable are not available here. When I installed it, it was the only high-speed Internet available. I think you'll be happy with the system. Folks, I can't connect at faster than 26.4bps out here (boondocks WA) but my transfer rate is nowhere near as bad as I've read about here. Pictures in less than a minute. YMMV. Folks,

I can't connect at faster than 26.4bps out here (boondocks WA) but my transfer rate is nowhere
near as bad as I've read about here.  Pictures in less than a minute.
YMMV.

My Directway isn't installed yet,  just paid through the nose for.
