I have several EGT probes left over from the original Lycoming installation.  You have to drill a hole in the exhaust pipe (I'm NA) and the probe is held in place with what is esentially a hose clamp that goes round the exhaust pipe. Is there any reason not to use these on the rotary?

I was unable to find any higher-than-normal temp EGT probes, so I ended up using fairly generic ones on my installation.  Hopefully, they'll last a long time, because they're a pain to replace (soldered on EM-2 plug).  I would say that the ones you have are as good as any.
