Hi Rusty, I have hard time
believing these Amp draw figures? I sell gear pumps on my web site and have
tested them on our bench. Even the 3 gpm pump uses about 5A minimum without
load. Our 6 GPM pump is rated 15A 12V. Somehow you are getting free lunch
:)
Seems it was just one of those Canadian
practical jokes. Probably a few too many mooseheads when he first measured
it :-) I'm glad Todd spoke up, because those numbers did seem kinda
low. I didn't measure mine today, but it's on a note, prominently stuck to
my vise with a magnet, so I'll probably do it
tomorrow.
