Hi Paul,
The simplest thing to do is cut the pixel count. You should have some
kind of an editing program that will let you save the pictures in a
smaller format. 640X480 is pretty good for viewing on a computer
screen. Sorry, I'm a Linux guy so I don't know what to recommend.
If you want to email them to me, I can scale them down and email them
back. 640X480's usually run around 50K.
You are correct in thinking the quality is better with more
pixels, but it doesn't help that much when the image has to be scaled
down to see it on the screen anyway. It does let you make larger
prints.
