Dont let me discourage you from trying it. I'm hoping someone makes it
work. It would be a way for me to delete the large air scoop currently
installed on the top of my cowl if you could make it work.

  I'd vote you out for all the crap you've given me over the past year or
two, not over the wacky ideas.  :-)

LOL!  As always, thanks for all the info.  I could promise to stop giving
you a hard time, but it would just be a lie :-)

FWIW, Howe only charges $90 to install an exchanger in the rad, so I'll only
be out $180 and a few pounds if it doesn't work.
