Too late Ed, I already ordered a 2.5' threaded section to play with :-)
Don't worry though, I already have the custom radiator order about 90%
complete. I'll post the details of that tomorrow for review.
In the mean time, since you like math so much, I'll let you explain how my
flat radiator managed half the temp drop of one of your evap cores, with
only 4.6% of the area. BTW, since I'm counting both sides of my flat
radiator, I'm counting both sides of your fins :-)
For the record, I AM just messin' with you. Now get out there and fly off
that 5 hour minimum test time to cover your new redrive installation :-)
Rusty
--------------------------
so comparing that to the single radiator above 12,480/1696.41 = 7.356
sections
9 feet long or approx 66 feet of this tubing to equal one GM evaporator
core.
Now my airplane takes two of the evaporator cores, so all things being
equal
you would need approx 132 feet of that tubing.
So unless my math is way off (always possible), Rusty, I would recommend
saving your money for something like a custom radiator.
