As it turns out, it will cause me more installation = trouble than it's worth, since I have nowhere else to mount the alternator. I = still think it will work, but so will the stock water pump, so I'm taking the = path of least resistance and ditching the EWP. Fortunately, Summit Racing = has a great return policy, so I shipped it back today. =20 =20 I'm now looking at that tall thermostat cover housing, and wondering = what the best way to cut that down would be. Can this cast aluminum be = welded? I have a picture of the one that Tommy has, but I'd like to see some = other options. Anyone have pics? If they're large, you can send them offline = to keep from killing the list, though I'm sure others would like to see = them also. =20 =20 The other thing I'm looking for is the adjustment arm for the = alternator, the long arm with the slotted hole. I checked my junk box, and couldn't find one.
