gear box seems quiter and smoother. Having taken the RD-1B completely
apart
in order to have it nickle coated, I am even more impressed with Tracy's
design than I was before. It is one solid gear assembly with two oil
float
bearings and two thrust bearings.
I'll post a photo of the mounted unit tomorrow..
So assuming nothing else hops up, it looks like Sun & Fun in April
